What the naked eye can see
When you look at your mole or freckle it might have

an usual shape
-
or an usual colour, with more than one colour within the mole
-
it may bleed, or ooze even be itchy, ALL this you can see.
What the naked eye can’t see but
the dermoscopy can
-
Dermoscopy techniques view structures beneath the skin surface including extremely small cancer blood vessels- this enables cancers to be detected before they are diagnosed with the naked eye.
This is extremely important as most cancers can be cured with the early diagnosis and treatment
